Full Stack Software Engineer - TS/SCI with Polygraph

Description

The company is a global technology and professional services firm serving U.S. government, defense and intelligence agencies, with about 26,000 staff across 50+ countries, focused on AI, cloud, cyber and software development.

The team provides cyber security risk management as a managed service across several environments and centers, helping the client get timely, accurate and secure information.

This is a full stack role on a team of systems engineers and developers that will specify, design, build, test and deploy the end-state system, working in iterative scrum cycles with several stakeholders inside AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build, run and maintain Java microservices.
• Move data between systems through REST APIs.
• Learn the AWS data workflow built on Lambda, S3 and related services.
• Ingest and normalize data from several sources.
• Connect with other enterprise service programs through web services.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Take part in system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Watch applications in production.
• Review code with the team.
• Prepare technical documents and briefing materials for status reviews, control gates and other presentations that program management requests.
• Talk with team leads and senior leadership, and adjust direction quickly when requirements change.

Requirements

• Experience with ETL tools and data transformation.
• 6+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, information technology, cybersecurity or a closely related field.
• Understanding of Java microservices.
• Understanding of REST APIs.
• Understanding of AWS data workflows using Lambda, S3 and similar technologies.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph.

Conditions

Location: Bethesda, MD, onsite.

40 scheduled hours per week.

Travel: less than 10%.

The likely salary range is $157,250 to $212,750, based on experience, location and possibly contract terms. The pay may fall outside this range and is not guaranteed.
