Full Stack Senior Engineering Lead - Inventory Orchestration

Description

The company is hiring a senior engineering lead for its Inventory Orchestration teams, working on microservice-based architecture.

You will lead solution design and implementation, aiming for high quality and alignment with the company's strategic framework, and you will use AI-assisted development tools to raise productivity and drive new ideas.

You will work closely with developers and architects across these teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to technical expert for full-stack microservice architecture, guiding both internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the design of scalable, resilient microservices for the Inventory Orchestration domain.
• Work with several development teams so services fit together, support business goals, and follow the architecture blueprints.
• Promote and support the use of AI-assisted tools such as Devin, Anthropic Claude and GitHub Copilot to improve developer output and code quality.
• Set and oversee the system changes needed to launch new products and improve processes.
• Coach junior and senior engineers to build a habit of technical excellence, new ideas and ongoing learning.
• Find the cause and business impact of complex problems, and lead the work to fix them.
• Shape engineering decisions through expert advice and by running technical discussions and design reviews.
• Weigh risk when business decisions are made, protecting the firm's reputation and its clients and assets. Make sure work complies with laws, rules, regulations and internal policy, use sound ethical judgment, and escalate and report control issues openly.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional software development, with substantial hands-on work on both backend and frontend.
• Deep, practical experience using AI tools such as Devin, Anthropic Claude and others for code generation, debugging and daily development work.
• Proven record building enterprise applications with Java and the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Strong skill in modern frontend frameworks such as React and Angular, including complex, responsive user interfaces.
• Deep experience designing, building and integrating RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices.
• Practical experience with Docker containers and with Kubernetes and OpenShift for orchestration.
• Hands-on work with Apache Kafka, including Kafka Streams, Schema Registry and topic design, for reliable, high-throughput asynchronous communication between services.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Ansible.
• In-depth experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git and Jenkins.
• Clear verbal and written communication, with the ability to lead technical teams, explain complex architecture, and present to technical and non-technical audiences.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A master's degree is preferred.

Full-time position in the Technology job family, Applications Development group.

Base salary range for the primary location: $111,600.00 to $161,600.00.
