Full Stack Developer

Description

The company is a worldwide technology and professional services firm serving U.S. government, defense and intelligence agencies, with 26,000 staff across 50+ countries and work in AI, cloud, cyber and software development.

You will help build a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool for a mission-critical customer. It holds a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products, and your work will directly support that mission.

Responsibilities

• Build new features for the tool, prioritised by high-priority mission needs.
• Maintain and sustain the existing code base.

Requirements

• Work history of 5+ years in a related field.
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• Hands-on skill in C, C/C++ and Java 8+.
• Scripting in Python, Bash or PHP.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat, Elasticsearch, Oracle, Spring Boot, RESTful web services and Solr.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
• Able to understand, maintain and troubleshoot interfaces between multiple applications.
• For the principal level, 8+ years of related experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Desired: experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), PrimeFaces, Quarkus or Node.js.
• Desired: experience with Lex/Yacc.
• Desired: basic sysadmin skills, such as managing cron jobs and SELinux.
• Desired: experience with agency reporting and dissemination tools and agency classification policies.
• Desired: experience working in agile teams using JIRA and Confluence.

Conditions

Onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, USA. No telecommuting option.

40 scheduled hours per week.

No travel required.

You must currently hold TS/SCI with polygraph and be able to obtain it. No public trust or other clearance is required.

Rotating on-call pager duty for 24/7 emergency call-in support, roughly one week in every 4 to 6 weeks, as required. On-call staff may charge 4 additional hours for that week on top of hours worked.
