Description

The company builds the platform that lets local governments and essential services businesses buy, sell, and move expensive, specialized equipment. It automates discovery, payments, freight, warranty, and financing, and operates in cities and towns across all 50 states.

The company began with fire departments two years ago, has since added EMS and heavy-duty, and grew revenue more than tenfold last year. Annualized transaction volume on the platform is over $100M.

The team is small and growing. You would be one of the first 40 employees and would work directly with the founders. The company has raised $18M, including a $13.5M Series A, from Y Combinator, Initialized Capital, Infinity Ventures, FJ Labs, and other investors.

The role is part of building the Growth, Marketing, and Ops teams for the company's next phase. You would work with the CEO and GTM leaders to find people who can scale a complex, mission-critical marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Run full-cycle hiring for GTM functions, working with the CEO and hiring managers to attract, evaluate, and close strong candidates.
• Design and carry out sourcing plans that draw on outbound outreach, referrals, communities, and professional networks.
• Own each search from start to finish, building targeted pipelines from nothing.
• Measure hiring funnel results and refine the process based on the data.
• Represent the company's mission and values to the talent market and make sure every candidate has a strong experience.

Requirements

• Required: 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting across GTM roles, including sales and marketing.
• Required: experience recruiting at a high-growth startup and a solid understanding of the NYC talent market.
• Required: a strong record of sourcing and closing, with experience using modern recruiting tools and an ATS such as Ashby.
• You take ownership and care about the quality of every hire.
• You know how to approach GTM candidates and write outreach that makes the company stand out.
• You are organized, communicate clearly, and can juggle several priorities at once.
• You work proactively, use sound judgment, and prefer action, even when situations are fast-moving and unclear.
