Description

The company builds an autonomous one-to-one marketing AI that lets brands hold personalized conversations with each customer, improve lifecycle marketing results, and grow revenue.

Its customers include Fortune 500 companies, the San Francisco 49ers, and direct-to-consumer brands with $100M+ in annual sales.

Revenue and customer onboarding have roughly doubled continuously over the past 6 months.

The team is 7 people, 75% of whom are former founders.

The company is early. Its operating systems, playbooks, and leadership team are still being built.

AI is changing how consumer brands talk to their customers, and the company is helping define that shift.

Responsibilities

  • Help shape the technical foundation of the company across the product, the platform, and the team's culture, working as a co-architect of everything it builds.
  • Work with the founders and the founding engineering team to build and scale the core product that lets brands engage millions of followers in an authentic way.
  • Make early architecture and stack decisions that let the team move quickly now and handle global scale later.
  • Turn customer needs into resilient technical systems that balance speed, quality, and reliability.
  • Set the engineering culture, which should be high caliber, collaborative, and focused on the product.
  • Have a large say in how the product, codebase, customer experience, and engineering organization develop.
  • Work with a stack that includes Convex, Next.js, AI SDK, and other tools.
  • Own customer-facing features end to end, from requirements through launch.
  • Use customer feedback and usage data to make the product more intuitive and reliable.
  • Work closely with design to turn flows and interactions into well-engineered solutions.
  • Prototype fast, ship often, and iterate based on usage and metrics.
  • Keep code quality, tooling, and test coverage strong so the product stays reliable as it grows.
  • Build and improve telemetry and observability for the user flows that matter most.
  • Work across the full stack, balancing a great user experience with performance and scalability.
  • Contribute to technical standards and practices that help engineers move fast with confidence.
  • Take part in architecture discussions that shape how the system scales and performs.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of professional full stack experience building SaaS, AI-enabled, or consumer applications.
  • Be comfortable moving quickly in an early-stage environment and shipping features that real customers use.
  • Take initiative and care deeply about the quality of your work.
  • Solve problems yourself rather than only pointing them out.
  • Hold yourself to a high bar and aim for clean, maintainable code.
  • Have a clear view of what excellent code and product experience look like, while staying collaborative and low ego.
  • Be entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity, and keen to shape a product from the ground up.
  • Want to build alongside people who share your standards and sense of ownership.
  • Have experience with AI or large language model products.
  • Have a background in consumer products, personalization engines, or customer data systems.
  • Have worked at an early-stage startup or on a founding team before.
  • Have experience with social media APIs such as Instagram, TikTok, or Meta.
  • Have experience building observability, performance monitoring, or alerting infrastructure.

Conditions

The role is based in San Francisco and is in person at the office.

The team does not hold a fixed set of hours, and some days involve working late.

Benefits

  • Ship features used by real customers from your first day and directly shape how brands engage millions of followers.
  • Help set product direction, engineering standards, and team practices while decisions are still lightweight and your impact is high.
  • Work closely with design, founders, and customers, with decisions based on real usage and results.
  • Join while the company has live customers, early revenue, and strong investor backing, at a point where good execution compounds quickly.
  • Lunch is provided every day in the office, and dinner is covered on late days.
  • Team outings include dinners, escape rooms, and NFL games.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, with 401(k) matching.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Help define the company and its industry as it grows.
