Description
In short: one of the company's first marketing hires, owning field marketing. You will work hand in hand with Sales to turn trade shows, SAP events and industry events into qualified pipeline with the world's largest companies.
Why the company
The world's largest companies compete by being different, and most of that difference lives in the software they've built for themselves, which decides everything from how parcels reach your door to how food gets onto supermarket shelves. That software is a real advantage, but it's also the hardest part of the business to change safely, so good ideas often wait months or even years for the systems to catch up.
Every large enterprise has a software company hiding inside it, and the company is building the operating system for it. We read a company's code and processes, work out what needs to change, and help the business and its systems move forward together, wherever custom software has become too complex to change safely.
We're a talent-dense team of about 70, growing fast across London and New York, with people from Palantir, G-Research, Legora and Sequoia. Extreme ownership, high velocity, low-ego collaboration. What you build here will shape the company and how the world's largest companies operate.
About the role
We're looking for someone to own field marketing as part of the founding marketing team. Our buyers are CIOs and IT leaders at the world's largest enterprises, and many of the most important conversations happen in person, at SAP events, trade shows and industry gatherings. This role builds the company's presence in the market and turns it into real, measurable pipeline.
You will work forward-deployed with Sales, owning the programme end to end: deciding which events we attend and who goes, booking meetings before we arrive, making sure our presence on site is excellent, and following up until conversations become opportunities. You will work closely with our account executives, regional directors and founders, and with our Owned Events lead, who runs the events the company hosts itself.
You will have real budget and a lot of autonomy, and you will build the playbook from scratch.
