Field Delivery Manager (on site)

Description

You will lead a site-based team of HVAC technicians who maintain and service chiller systems at a manufacturing facility.

The work covers centrifugal, screw and magnetic bearing compressors, and the role is based on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HVAC technicians maintaining and servicing complex chiller systems.
• Plan workloads and bring in extra technicians when the job needs them.
• Make sure service delivery meets the client's KPIs and keep client relationships strong.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance work.
• Review and issue maintenance and service reports.
• Plan out-of-hours rotas and resources.
• Keep EHS, RAMS and COSHH requirements met.
• Maintain records for site tools, equipment, calibration and PAT testing.
• Work closely with site administration and client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Level 3.
• F-Gas and refrigerant handling certification (2079).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong HVAC or refrigeration background, including large tonnage chillers.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Sound knowledge of EHS, RAMS and COSHH.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and set priorities well.
• Confident with Microsoft Office and digital service management systems.
• Optional: IOSH qualification.
• Optional: experience in nuclear or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Optional: SAP and Service Max experience, which is beneficial.

Conditions

SC clearance is required for site access and will be arranged before the start date.
