The FDE SWAT role is for a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer who fixes complex problems in live customer deployments. You join a team of specialists and are called in by FDE Pods or directly by customers when critical issues arise.
The company builds an AI CRM where people and agents work together on customer success, and its AI agents run in production at some of the largest enterprises.
Apply for no more than 3 roles within 12 months so your effort is not duplicated.
Job category: Sales.
Responsibilities
Own issues from triage and investigation through to fix, validation and handover, moving quickly to find root causes and restore stable performance across the agentic AI platform and wider platform.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders throughout, especially under pressure and tight deadlines.
Act as the direct escalation route to Product and Engineering: reproduce and document defects, provide detailed technical evidence, help build fixes and workarounds, and track each fix through to release.
Spot recurring issue patterns and share lessons with the Pods. Build reusable diagnostics, runbooks and preventive practices that improve future deployments across the EMEA South FDE team.
Develop AI agents that take real actions for customer organisations, including prompts, reasoning, tool calls and integration with customer systems, using the agentic AI platform and current LLM techniques.
Take technical components from architecture choice through to deployed, validated and observable in production.
Build and integrate data pipelines on the company's data platform, Snowflake, Databricks and customer data platforms. Model the data, deliver the pipeline and check the output.
Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reports that show deployment health and business results.
Help build proofs of concept and MVPs that go from sketch to deployable in days, not months.
Co-build with customers and partners, sharing best practice and enablement so each team is more capable after the engagement.
Feed platform gaps, edge cases and field insights back to senior Engineers and the product team.
Work with the Deployment Strategist in your pod to turn customer business challenges into agentic solutions that ship.

Keep up with the changing AI and data landscape by testing new tools and models.
