Description

The company is an AI data business that pays domain experts to train frontier AI models. It runs the APEX benchmark family, which measures AI's effect on professional work, and offers an enterprise product for large companies that turns how their top staff work into AI agents.

The company is a profitable Series C business valued at $10 billion. Its team works alongside researchers, operators and AI firms. The company pays over $4 million per day to the experts on its platform.

This is a newly created role to build university recruiting, early-career hiring and internships from scratch. You will set the strategy for finding and hiring emerging talent in engineering, machine learning and business, and you will work with a high degree of ownership and independence to build programs that can scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design the early-career recruiting plan, covering university recruiting, new-grad hiring and internships, including talent pools, recruiting calendars and hiring plans.
  • Find strong emerging talent through creative sourcing that looks beyond campus recruiting and existing university pipelines.
  • Manage the full recruiting cycle for intern and new-grad roles in engineering, ML and business: sourcing, assessment, candidate engagement and closing.
  • Set up the recruiting framework, selection process and return-offer strategy for the internship program, working with hiring managers and the People team to give interns a strong experience.
  • Launch talent pipelines such as hackathons, fellowships, student partnerships and ambassador programs where they will improve hiring.
  • Work with hiring managers and functional leads to define early-career talent needs, set hiring standards and match recruiting plans to business priorities.
  • Set up the metrics and processes to track program effectiveness, candidate quality, offer acceptance and intern-to-full-time conversion.

Requirements

  • You have 6+ years of recruiting experience, with real ownership of university, early-career or internship recruiting.
  • You have built or substantially changed an early-career recruiting program and can show clear ownership and measurable results.
  • You have strong technical recruiting experience, especially for engineering, computer science or machine learning talent.
  • You are highly creative at sourcing and can spot high-potential candidates who do not fit traditional credentials, schools or known employer brands.
  • You can build a strategy and carry it out on your own, without existing infrastructure to lean on.
  • You manage stakeholders well: you can influence hiring managers, question assumptions and hold people to account.
  • You use data to measure recruiting results, improve processes and set priorities.
  • You are willing to travel for university partnerships, recruiting events and other high-impact opportunities.

Conditions

The role is based in person in the San Francisco, NYC or London office, five days a week.

Equal opportunity: all qualified applicants are considered regardless of background.
