Description

Your Impact at LILA

The company is hiring a Director, Product Marketing, Life Sciences to own go-to-market for our life science product portfolio. You will set positioning and launch strategy for closed-loop AI and autonomous lab capabilities, including mRNA design, DNA construct optimization, and AI-driven medicinal chemistry.

The audience is senior and technical: biopharma and advanced therapy companies, R&D and CMC leaders, data science teams, and scientific IT. Your job is to make complex science legible and commercially compelling, then build the evidence that moves prospects from curiosity to committed programs.

You will work as an individual contributor embedded with the LS Product team, partnering closely with Commercial, Business Development, and Brand. Success looks like a coherent portfolio narrative, a real plan behind every major capability launch, and a field team equipped to sell.

Define positioning for RNA, DNA, protein, and small molecule capabilities

Lead launches end to end, from pilot framing through general availability and expansion

Build offer constructs with Product and Commercial, including pilot scopes and access models

Turn pilots into case studies that show measurable scientific impact

Equip Commercial and BD with narrative decks, talk tracks, and competitive positioning

Synthesize customer and competitive signal into prioritization recommendations for Product

  • Exceptional writing, with examples aimed at scientific and executive audiences
  • Proven influence across Product, Commercial, and Brand without formal authority
  • Experience supporting or leading sales motions into top 20 pharma accounts
  • Bonus Points For
  • Advanced degree in life sciences, bioengineering, or a related field
  • Experience marketing lab automation, assay platforms, or AI-driven discovery tools
  • Familiarity with CMC, translational, or bioinformatics buying processes
  • Early-stage experience where the category and product are still being defined
