Director of Product Management, Security

The company has moved from storage hardware into a data platform. It finished fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first quarter above $1 billion, and growth is speeding up into FY27.

Its customers include hyperscalers, AI labs, AI hardware suppliers, data platform providers and the wider AI ecosystem.

This role leads security product strategy for the flagship FlashArray storage platform, with the aim of earning trust from global enterprise and government buyers.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach and direct a team of product managers, setting goals, staffing priorities and talent development plans for the security portfolio.
• Own the multi-year security roadmap covering encryption, identity and access management (IAM) and zero-trust, so the product exceeds what highly regulated industries require.
• Lead the strategy and delivery of key certifications such as FIPS, Common Criteria and FedRAMP, widening the company's reach in public and private sector markets.
• Oversee threat response and vulnerability management, prioritising fast patch rollout to protect the global FlashArray install base and customer uptime.
• Set long-term objectives, budget priorities and resource plans that keep pace with changing global compliance rules and build secure-by-design features into every product.
• Work with executives, Engineering and the CTO office to turn security standards into a competitive advantage.
• Partner with executives, Sales and Marketing to explain the security value of the product and its resilience architecture in terms that drive enterprise revenue.

Requirements

• Proven experience recruiting, developing and leading high-performing product management teams, including resource allocation and operational planning.
• Deep technical knowledge of enterprise security protocols, encryption standards, identity management and distributed storage architecture.
• Thorough understanding of global compliance frameworks such as NIST, FedRAMP, FIPS and GDPR, and how they apply to hardware and software product strategy.
• Ability to explain complex technical risks and strategic trade-offs clearly to C-suite leaders, major enterprise customers and cross-functional partners.

Conditions

The role is primarily on-site at the Santa Clara, CA office, following company policy, except during PTO, work travel or other approved leave.

The annual base salary range is $239,000 - $359,000 USD.

Pay ranges depend on role, level and location. For roles open in several locations, the base range reflects the labour market across those locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
