What is The Role

Every outcome on the company platform starts with data getting in. Streams, the company’s telemetry pipeline, is the shared ingest layer for Observability, Security, and Search. It collects data from any source, processes and routes it, and stores it in Elasticsearch or the customer’s own object storage, all built on open standards like OpenTelemetry and Prometheus. As Director of Product Management, you will own Streams end to end and lead the PM team behind it. Your job is to make the company the easiest platform to bring data to, for every solution and every customer.

What You Will Be Doing

Own the strategy and roadmap for data collection, ingestion, processing and routing, and the integrations framework.

Define and track KPIs focused on product and feature adoption

Partner with Observability, Security, and Search product leaders to provide a shared service everyone can leverage

Make getting data ingestion self-service, with time-to-first-data measured in minutes.

Lead a team of distributed product managers and enable them to deliver measurable outcomes.

Drive roadmap priorities by working with customers, internal teams, and the community

Work with engineers and designers to scope and define compelling features

Enable sales, marketing, and partners with clear messaging and positioning

What You Bring

10+ years in product management, including 4+ years leading PM teams in data infrastructure, observability, or data pipelines.

Deep technical fluency in telemetry ingest: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, log processing, routing, and agent management.

Experience shipping SaaS products with usage-based pricing, and building platform capabilities shared by several product lines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with the company Stack is a plus

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.

At the company, our compensation philosophy aims to provide fair, competitive and transparent remuneration. Salary ranges are established based on a combination of external market benchmarks, internal pay equity considerations, and the responsibilities and complexity associated with each role. This approach helps ensure consistency across comparable roles while remaining competitive within the relevant labour markets.

The final compensation offered within the applicable range will be determined based on several objective factors, including relevant professional experience, level of skills and expertise, alignment with the role requirements, and the overall scope and complexity of the position.

The typical starting salary range for this role is:

€91.600 - €144.900 EUR
