Description

The company runs a platform for private markets, combining technology, data and fund administration for general partners. It serves more than 2,300 GPs, handles over $300B in assets under administration and has more than 700,000 LPs on the platform. It was founded in 2014, has raised over $350M and employs more than 1,000 people.

The culture leans toward owner-style thinking, quick action and open debate, with transparency and feedback as the norm.

Employees can work fully remote or from one of the company's physical offices. Teams are spread across 27 US states, 2 Canadian provinces, India, Luxembourg and England. Offices are in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore.

This role sits in the PMO for the whole engineering organization. You will lead delivery on the company's largest and most strategic enterprise accounts, working directly with customer executives and internal stakeholders on project plans and execution alongside engineering, product and go-to-market teams.

You will bridge engineering leadership and customers, manage a small group of program and technical program managers, and stay hands-on with the highest-stakes initiatives. You will report to the Chief Development Officer and work closely with R&D leadership on PMO structure, standards and team growth.

You will also build and run a company-wide program reporting standard, including a shared dashboard for R&D leadership, so status, risk and milestones are consistent and reliable across programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own program management across the engineering organization and be the single accountable owner for program health across several engineering leaders' portfolios.
  • Lead delivery on the largest, most complex enterprise accounts, representing engineering to customers and working with Sales, Customer Success and Product from pre-close through go-live.
  • Build and run a company-wide program reporting standard, including a shared R&D leadership dashboard that gives consistent, reliable views of status, risk and milestones.
  • Manage and grow a team of program and technical program managers, setting standards for rigor, governance and documentation.
  • Build trust with R&D leadership and align cross-functional teams so every major initiative has a program manager involved and accountable from the start.
  • Work with the Chief Development Officer and R&D leadership to shape PMO structure, delivery governance and standards, and plan the team's long-term growth.
  • Stay hands-on by setting direction and also driving day-to-day execution on the highest-stakes programs.
  • Design, run and maintain multi-step AI workflows and PMO tooling, such as Cowork skills or scripted Jira and Confluence reporting, to keep tracking and executive reporting fast and current as the team grows.
  • Present clearly to senior leadership, conveying key updates, risks and strategic initiatives.
  • Work with product and engineering leaders on roadmap, resourcing and capacity so milestones and deliverable dates stay on track.
  • Find, track and reduce risks and issues across strategic initiatives before they escalate.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of program management experience, including 4+ years leading a SaaS PMO or program function at director level.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field. An MBA is preferred.
  • A record of leading complex, client-facing enterprise software implementations, working directly with enterprise customers and executives, not only internal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and developing a team of program or technical program managers.
  • A history of building trust and getting results across engineering leadership without direct authority over delivery teams.
  • Hands-on experience building and running a multi-step AI or Cowork workflow, beyond using a chatbot to draft documents.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when key client engagements and team or executive meetings require it.
  • Experience coordinating program management and engineering squads across several regions, such as North America, Latin America, India and Europe.
  • Direct experience running high-stakes, large-scale enterprise deployments and multi-million-dollar strategic customer engagements with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience growing PMO operations, governance and delivery frameworks through rapid growth or structural change.
  • Preferred: background in fintech, private markets, fund administration or other regulated enterprise SaaS.
  • Preferred: experience building executive or company-wide reporting and dashboard standards.
  • Preferred: experience spotting and turning around an at-risk enterprise implementation before it hurt the customer relationship, rather than reacting after the fact.
  • Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP or an equivalent certification.

Conditions

The U.S. base salary range is $200,000 - $250,000 USD. Final pay depends on factors such as experience, skillset and location, and on local minimum pay rules where they apply.
