DevSecOps Engineer

The team is hiring a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to help build and run secure, scalable, cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. You will work with the Platform, Security and Product teams to move applications onto standard cloud patterns, improve automation and security, and adopt DevOps, SRE and observability practices. The work centres on AWS and EKS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and run secure, scalable AWS infrastructure on EKS.
• Lead the move of applications onto standard cloud patterns and platform services.
• Build and maintain GitHub CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Write and manage infrastructure in Terraform.
• Shift authentication away from stored credentials towards AWS IAM, IRSA and modern identity management.
• Run Kubernetes environments so they stay reliable, secure and scalable.
• Lead observability and SRE work, including monitoring, logging and performance tuning.
• Use Amazon CloudWatch and, ideally, Dynatrace.
• Automate infrastructure and application lifecycle tasks.
• Keep platform processes, configurations and standards documented.
• Help own and govern the service catalog.
• Work with Platform Engineering, Security and Product to deliver secure, reliable solutions.
• Find ways to improve platform efficiency, resilience, security and developer experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevSecOps or DevOps engineer.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience.
• Advanced Kubernetes skills, ideally including EKS.
• Strong GitHub skills, including GitHub-based development and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid experience with Docker and containerised environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with cloud and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with authentication and IAM, particularly in AWS.
• Strong understanding of Amazon CloudWatch and cloud monitoring.
• Able to work independently and with cross-functional technical teams.
• Security mindset and interest in building reliable, scalable, well-governed cloud platforms.
• Experience with Python scripting or automation.
• Experience with Java applications or ecosystems.
• Experience with Dynatrace or other observability platforms.
• Experience with AWS IAM Roles for Service Accounts (IRSA).
• Knowledge of SRE principles and practices.
• Previous work in large-scale enterprise or financial services environments.

Conditions

Full-time permanent employment or contractor arrangement.

Remote, based in Spain. Candidates from other EU or Latam countries will also be considered.
