Description

The work spans AWS, Azure and GCP, along with several source code management platforms, with the goal of consolidating workflows and creating a secure, consistent developer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the migration, merging and integration of source code management and CI/CD pipelines across platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab and Bitbucket.
  • Maintain and unify build, test and deployment infrastructure across AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Work with M&A integration leads, engineering teams and enterprise architects to review legacy toolchains, propose target architectures and agree on shared engineering practices.
  • Build and maintain automation scripts and custom REST integrations that connect toolchains and reduce manual work.
  • Promote DevSecOps practices across engineering systems and take part in company-wide IT and cybersecurity efforts to enforce source scanning, access controls and compliance standards.
  • Write technical documentation, migration runbooks and self-service guides to help acquired teams onboard smoothly.

Requirements

  • Four-plus years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or build and release automation: 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE or build/release automation.
  • Solid practical experience with enterprise CI/CD systems, especially Jenkins and GitHub or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong plus: exposure to GitLab CI and Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and supporting workloads on at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Working scripting and programming skills, for example in Python, Bash or Shell, plus experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Deep knowledge of Git workflows, repository management and code governance models.
  • Understanding of source code security, pipeline hardening, secret management and DevSecOps tooling.
  • Clear verbal and written communication, and a track record of coordinating with globally distributed, cross-functional teams during complex transitions.
  • Either a bachelor's degree with 4+ years of DevOps engineering experience, or 6+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
  • You must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a security clearance if a government contract requires one.
