The company is building America's #1 sports prediction market by turning a closed, casino-run system into a fair, efficient two-sided market where users hold the power.
The company recently became a CFTC-designated market, the fastest designation of its kind in US history, and is bringing its product to sports fans nationwide.
As a design engineer, you work at the point where design and frontend engineering meet, alongside the design and engineering teams. You prototype in code and help shape the core experience of the product.
Design here is AI-first and craft-first. The team uses Claude Code to get from an idea to working software quickly, tests on real devices with real users, then refines motion, interaction and small details until they feel right.
Responsibilities
Use AI throughout the work, from first concept to implementation, to turn ideas into working code, compare approaches, generate components and iterate.
Care about the last 5, 10% of the experience, including transitions and the small details most people miss. Take the design leads' direction into code and push it further.
Help set the motion principles, shaping transitions, animations and micro-interactions that feel snappy, smooth and exciting.
Turn the company's design principles into scalable components and repeatable patterns, and evolve the design system so branded experiences are easier to build and maintain.
Build interactive prototypes, gather feedback through user research tools, and use what you learn to refine flows before they become production-ready patterns.
Build fast, inclusive and reliable experiences with solid semantic structure, navigation, focus states and support for motion preferences. Work with engineers to debug and optimise over time.
