Description

The company builds software that helps organizations make decisions and run operations using the right data, giving partners what they need to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, and locate missing children.

The role starts with a customer's belief that better use of their data is the way to solve a real operational problem, such as protecting troops, making high-quality products, shaping healthcare policy, or getting aid to refugees safely. Deployment Strategists turn that belief into working results.

The team focuses on manufacturing and the American industrial base, drawing on years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineers, product designers, and other Deployment Strategists to apply software to hard, high-stakes problems.
  • Work out which problem matters most, what the data shows, what the product needs, what users care about, and where the greatest impact lies.
  • Spend time inside customers' most complex workflows, explore their data, and study the product to help the company grow.
  • Work with customer teams to identify the questions they need answered, find their biggest problems, and locate the relevant datasets.
  • Work with Forward Deployed Engineers to build a stable, extensible data pipeline.
  • Build customized workflows for new user groups and lead training to confirm the product meets user needs and improves their operations.
  • Present results and proposals for future work to audiences from analysts to C-suite executives.
  • Embed with software engineering and product design teams to bring what you learn in the field into the company's cross-platform products.
  • Build and deliver demos to new and existing customers.
  • Identify potential engagements in new industries and in new locations around the world.
  • Some Deployment Strategists are assigned to internal company teams and problems.

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S. person.
  • You must be graduating in December 2027 or in Spring 2028.
  • You must be able to travel 25 to 75% of the time, depending on location and team.
  • You have experience with programming, scripting, or statistical packages such as Python, R, Matlab, or SQL.
  • You are not satisfied with surface-level answers and dig into the details of the data.
  • You put the outcome first and are comfortable sharing credit.
  • You can take on open-ended problems in unstructured settings.
  • You adapt well, reflect on your own work, and are willing to learn, guide, lead, and follow.

Conditions

The estimated base salary for this role is $6,700 per month. Total compensation is set by each person's qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of benefits and any potential long-term incentives.

The company encourages in-office work because it believes in-person collaboration leads to more creative outcomes. Many teams offer hybrid schedules with one or two days working from home each week.

A small number of roles can be remote on an exceptional basis. Remote employees must work from the state where they are employed. Onsite roles require working from an office.

Benefits and perks may vary by region.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus voluntary life insurance, available to employees and their eligible dependents.
  • Automatic basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance coverage for employees.
  • Commuter benefits and relocation assistance.
  • Flexible paid time off with no fixed accrual, plus 2 weeks of paid time off at the end of each year, subject to team and business needs.
  • 10 paid holidays each calendar year.
  • Leave of absence program, including time off for military service and medical events.
  • Paid leave for new parents and subsidized back-up care for all parents.
