Description

The company is a spirits group, and this internship sits in its Data Platform team, which builds the tools, infrastructure and standards that other teams use to create and run their own data products.

The internship runs for 6 months from March 2027, through 2027-03-01 to 2027-08-30.

The team's aim is a platform that is standardized, scalable and secure. It supports more than 10,000 Power BI reports used worldwide, which run on a Snowflake-based data infrastructure and connected systems that are monitored and improved continuously.

The team focuses on giving business teams reliable, long-lasting data foundations so they can spend their time getting value from data.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of topics on your own while working closely with the team.
  • Help build and maintain the data platform, covering data pipelines, data quality monitoring and automation.
  • Support data ingestion and transformation work using current tools such as dbt and Snowflake.
  • Work with data engineers and product teams to keep data available, reliable and scalable for each use case.
  • Help write documentation and standards, and share knowledge about platform components and good practice.
  • Test and prototype new tools or frameworks that could improve the platform's performance, observability or ease of use.

Requirements

  • You are enrolled in an engineering school or a Master's programme in data, computer science or a related field.
  • You have a solid grounding in data engineering, including SQL, Python and distributed data processing.
  • You have an analytical mind, enjoy solving problems and approach work with initiative and curiosity.
  • You communicate well, work well in a team and are willing to learn in a collaborative setting.
  • Experience with a cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP) and modern data stack tools is a plus.
  • You must be able to complete the full 6-month internship and have an agreement issued by your school or university.

Conditions

The internship is 6 months, starting March 2027 and ending 2027-08-30.

The role is based in Paris.

Equal opportunity applies: recruitment is based on skills and competencies.

Benefits

  • Gross monthly salary from 1410€ (Bac +4 with a gap year) to 1550€ (Bac +5).
  • Access to a company restaurant.
  • Unlimited access to the Coursera training platform.
  • Invitations to employee events such as masterclasses and conferences.
  • A friendly, supportive environment with chances to build a professional network. In the Happy Trainees 2025 survey, 92.2% of interns and alternates recommended the company as an employer.
