Description

The company is the second largest business unit of a global food group and a market leader in food service, working in over 76 countries with about 4,000 employees.

It sells B2B to chefs and is growing fast, with a 2030 plan built on product quality, AI-powered customer experience and a strong team culture.

The team is accelerating its digital transformation to grow through data and technology, aiming to engage chefs and customers through sales visits, the company webshop, segmented campaigns and newer channels such as WhatsApp and AI.

You will be the link between the data team and the marketing and customer development teams, measuring digital performance, reporting, improving customer data quality and supporting marketing technology across the digital ecosystem.

Beyond analysis, you will help teams turn data into practical recommendations, shape and improve customer journeys, and encourage data-based decisions. You will make sure digital platforms, reporting and marketing technology support customer engagement and growth.

The role reports to the Business Intelligence Lead and covers Belgium and the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the data and back-end processes behind digital initiatives and platforms such as the webshop, WhatsApp Business, Showpad, Marketo and future digital tools, covering collection, integration, governance, cleansing and optimisation.
  • Watch data flows and integrations between platforms, such as Salesforce, Marketo and UDL, make sure systems stay in sync, and fix data quality and process problems as they appear.
  • Be the main contact for data and back-end process questions across the digital landscape, including data quality, enrichment, collection, governance and cleansing.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, data models and reporting frameworks covering commercial, marketing and digital channels, platforms and campaigns so performance can be tracked and decisions are based on data.
  • Help set up, measure and improve customer journeys and campaigns across CRM, loyalty and engagement platforms such as Marketo and WhatsApp Business, and turn results into recommendations that lift engagement and campaign performance.
  • Work with sales, marketing, digital and data stakeholders to turn business needs into scalable data and analytics solutions, and keep improving reporting and data management processes.
  • Work closely with global data and digital teams to build, maintain and improve reporting, checking that business KPIs and performance metrics are accurate, consistent and validated.

Requirements

  • A BSc in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into useful business insights.
  • Experience with reporting, dashboards and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, including DAX and data modelling.
  • Familiarity with Azure and Databricks.
  • An understanding of data governance, data quality and the data lifecycle.
  • An understanding of digital marketing, customer journeys and campaign measurement.
  • An understanding of MarTech ecosystems and customer data flows, for example Salesforce, Marketo, Adobe Analytics and Showpad.
  • The ability to troubleshoot back-end platform and integration issues.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Fluent English. Dutch and/or French is a plus.
  • Preferred: experience with Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo and Showpad.
  • Preferred: knowledge of Python, Pandas, R and/or SQL.
  • Preferred: experience in CRM, customer journey or digital performance analytics.
