Customer Engineer

This is a Customer Engineer role based in Lombardy.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and install equipment across Lombardy to keep service running and customers satisfied.
• Keep working on each service issue until the customer is satisfied or the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) is met.
• Service workstations, peripherals, printers, front-end POS systems and self-checkout units.

Requirements

• A technical high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• A Category B driving license.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux and Unix.
• Familiarity with Ghost imaging procedures.
• Ability to work with little supervision, solve problems well and learn new skills quickly.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, overtime, shifts and on-call duty, up to 16 on-call periods per year.
• Aptitude for mechanical and electrical components, plus experience maintaining computer hardware (desktops, servers, peripherals) and handling software tasks.
• Knowledge of the local area.
• Ability to work toward objectives and meet deadlines.
• Ability to keep to schedules.
• A proactive attitude.
• Availability to start immediately or within 30 days at most.

Conditions

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday on shift and/or standby.

Minimum annual base salary of 27.000,00€ gross.
