Description

The team is part of a global technology group whose mission is to use AI, data and scalable technology to support healthcare. You will work in the AI Platforms Experience team, which shapes how people use the company's AI offerings, including agentic platforms, from first contact through daily use.

The team turns user research, a unified AI interface, production-ready blueprints and hands-on consultancy into a smooth adoption path. It works with product owners, enterprise architects, security, compliance and business and developer communities. The aim is to make AI infrastructure easy to use and easy to scale across the company.

You will help set the developer experience and push adoption of AI tools across the enterprise. You will lead the delivery of official reference architectures and reusable blueprints, bridging complex AI and agentic technology with practical business value. You will also lead technical consultancies, mentor engineers and set the bar for software delivery, quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Set the technical direction for the user experience, enablement platforms and adoption paths for AI offerings across the enterprise.
  • Write production-ready blueprints, starter kits and reusable interface components that hide infrastructure complexity and speed up AI delivery.
  • Run technical consultancy sessions, assess complex use cases, advise on architecture choices and mentor engineers and power users.
  • Turn field insights and developer feedback into clear input for the core platform roadmap, so adoption and value keep growing.
  • Build responsible AI guardrails, security practices and GxP validation into reusable accelerators and developer workflows.
  • Work with leaders in product, security, quality and business to align goals and grow the technical community.
  • Build a developer community of practice, define best practices, standardise delivery frameworks and grow technical leaders across teams.
  • Spot chances for modular enablement frameworks and reusable assets.
  • Promote the AI Tech Offering actively to drive adoption across enterprise teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including leading developer platforms in an enterprise setting and building reusable software assets.
  • A proven record of developer enablement, leading technical consultancies and connecting complex AI platform technology to real business adoption.
  • Proven experience driving AI innovation and leading the adoption of emerging AI technologies.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
  • Success in senior architecture roles and cross-functional leadership, with a history of mentoring engineers to raise technical standards and delivery.
  • Strong background in software development or platform engineering, with coding skills and the ability to assess end-to-end architecture and CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on use of AI coding assistants in modern development processes.
  • Strong written and spoken English at C1 or C2 level, able to explain complex technical ideas to varied audiences.
  • Keep learning as technology shifts quickly, and share knowledge generously as a technical leader.
  • A platform-first approach: understand the teams building on the platform so you can design strong developer experiences, and educate non-technical audiences at every management level.
  • Ability to influence and work across functions and ownership boundaries.
  • A strong team player who builds shared success and mutual support.
  • A habit of continuously improving and simplifying processes, standards and practices.
  • Skill in managing stakeholders in organisation-wide learning programmes, business teams and senior leadership, promoting platform experience best practices.
  • A value-driven mindset, with a record of measuring operational impact and platform adoption using quantitative metrics.
