Cryptography Cybersecurity Expert

Description

The company is a European digital services provider. It supports organizations through technological change with consulting, application services, digital engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, platforms and infrastructure services.

This role supports enterprise cybersecurity work with a focus on cryptography, data protection and security governance. You will help set security requirements, assess cyber risks and support security projects, and help improve the company's cryptographic and data protection practices over time.

Responsibilities

• Set security requirements and strategy for cryptography.
• Advise stakeholders on putting suitable security controls in place.
• Evaluate cyber risks and suggest ways to reduce them.
• Review the strength of security architectures, data protection mechanisms and key management methods.
• Take part in technical reviews and proof-of-concept work for security solutions.
• Advise on cryptography, anonymization and data masking.
• Help with risk analyses and the design of security countermeasures.
• Support work on a cryptographic asset inventory and crypto-agility.
• Track cybersecurity trends and share what you learn with other teams.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of IT risk and cybersecurity.
• Understanding of how risks are anticipated and how awareness of them is built.
• Ability to work well with both business and technology teams.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and spoken communication.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics to different audiences.
• English at mastery level.
• Valued: experience running committees, workshops or governance meetings.
• Valued: experience in cybersecurity communities or knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Valued: experience in large enterprise cybersecurity environments.
