Content Creator (Contract)

Description

The company is hiring a contract content creator for its luxury health, wellness, and hospitality brand. The role suits a hands-on maker who can come up with ideas, shoot, and edit content that matches the brand's precise, high-performance, polished look.

The work takes place across the NYC office and the clubs. The goal is short, modern video stories built for social media. Experience in luxury is a major plus, and your portfolio should be included with your application.

The company runs premium spaces where fitness, hospitality, design, and people come together, and it is not a typical gym environment.

Responsibilities

• Create original content concepts that fit the brand and support both organic and paid social.
• Shoot short, social-first video in the clubs, the office, and on location around NYC, capturing movement, energy, and the feel of the spaces.
• Edit short-form video with strong pacing, framing, and fluency in TikTok, Instagram, and newer platforms.
• Work with the Social, Creative, and Marketing teams to make sure every asset meets the brand's standards.
• Cover a range of subjects, including events, behind-the-scenes shoots, training and performance, lifestyle moments, club interiors, and creator-led stories.
• Track cultural and platform trends and bring new formats and editing ideas to the team.
• Turn edits around quickly and clean, delivering several versions for testing and paid social optimization.
• Plan and produce performance video ads that keep the brand's luxury look while using hooks, calls to action, and narrative structures that drive results.
• Handle audio for paid social ads, including voiceover direction, choosing and licensing music, sound design, and mixing.
• Take on other tasks as needed to keep the department running.

Requirements

• Proven experience conceiving, filming, and editing short-form content for culture-driven or luxury brands.
• Strong portfolio showing refined craft.
• Experienced editor in tools such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or Final Cut.
• Skilled on camera and comfortable directing talent, able to capture lively, in-the-moment footage with purpose.
• Production savvy and able to work independently with little supervision.
• Organized, proactive, and able to uphold a luxury standard without close oversight.
• Able to work on-site in NYC and travel between clubs and locations as needed.
• Well versed in culture, fitness, fashion, and the visual language of modern luxury.

This is a contract position based on-site in NYC, with travel between clubs and locations as needed.
