Consultant, Data Engineer

Description

The company is a Fortune 100 business with nearly $70 billion in annual sales. Its technology team wants people who care about customers and who can help the business adopt new technologies that produce real outcomes.

This data engineering role builds and modernizes the data platform that feeds analytics across the business.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable ETL and ELT pipelines that gather large, varied datasets from several source systems and load them into cloud data warehouses and data marts.
• Use Snowflake and AWS to store and process large analytical workloads and complex data assets efficiently.
• Carry out logical and physical dimensional modeling, data profiling and data quality analysis to design Star and Snowflake schemas and set data load strategies.
• Create custom automated workflows, system alerts and scripts.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using enterprise automation software and orchestration frameworks.
• Run proof-of-concept tests on new data tools, frameworks and cloud technologies to judge feasibility and support platform modernization.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science.
• 3 years of experience doing the work described above.
• Consistently show the company's values in your day-to-day work.

Conditions

Exempt position, not eligible for overtime.

National salary range: $118,000.00 - $222,000.00.

Expected starting salary range: $118,000.00 - $178,000.00.

Pay follows a geographic salary structure. Where you land in the starting range depends on skills, education, training, credentials, experience, role scope and complexity, location, local labor costs and other employment conditions.

For part-time roles, the ranges above are full-time figures and actual pay is prorated by hours worked.
