Responsibilities
The Construction Quality Assurance Manager will support the redevelopment and buildout of the company’s advanced manufacturing facility in Cherokee, Alabama. This position will serve as the primary field representative for construction quality assurance and will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the owner’s construction quality assurance program across the project.
The Construction Quality Assurance Manager will work directly with the company’s project team to provide field-level quality oversight of construction activities and will coordinate closely with the General Contractor, subcontractors, design engineers, third-party testing and inspection agencies, commissioning personnel, and equipment teams.
This is an owner-side quality assurance role. The General Contractor and subcontractors remain responsible for controlling the quality of their work and delivering construction that complies with the Contract Documents. The Construction Quality Assurance Manager will independently verify that appropriate quality control processes are being implemented, construction complies with project requirements, required testing and inspections are performed, and identified deficiencies are properly resolved.
The successful candidate will be highly field-oriented and capable of identifying quality risks before they affect downstream construction, equipment installation, commissioning, manufacturing operations, cost, or schedule.

Identify work that does not comply with project requirements and coordinate resolution with the appropriate project stakeholders.
Establish and manage the project process for identifying, documenting, tracking, and closing construction deficiencies and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Coordinate NCR resolution with the General Contractor, subcontractors, design engineers, and the company construction team.
