Seeking Secret-Cleared GNC Engineers: Level 5/6! (Chandler)

Description

The team in Chandler, Arizona builds software and simulation tools for missile guidance, navigation and control, and works on technologies that support national security.

The company is an international employer, and the team is trust-based and collaborative. You will be expected to learn new languages, programs and platforms as needed, since training is provided for tools you do not already know.

The role is for senior-level engineers, with Level 5 and Level 6 candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, verify and test high-quality software and simulation toolchains.
• Run 6 degree of freedom (6DoF) simulations to design and test missile flight code.
• Use 6DoF simulation models to assess system performance.
• Apply knowledge of missile flight dynamics, autopilot design and guidance design by implementing them in missile flight code.
• Work with a range of trajectory optimization software and tools.
• Be an active, integral member of your team, bring new ideas and work with agility and collaboration to explore creative approaches.

Requirements

• Level 5: a bachelor's degree with 12 years of professional experience, a master's degree with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
• Level 5: a bachelor's degree with 14 years of professional experience, a master's degree with 12 years, or a PhD with 10 years.
• An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• An active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at the time of application, current and within scope.
• Directly related Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) experience.
• Preferred: a master's or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Preferred: a Top Secret clearance.

Conditions

The role is 100% on-site in Chandler, AZ.

No travel is required.

A Secret clearance is required for start.

Base salary ranges are $152,900.00 to $229,300.00 for the primary level and $166,500.00 to $249,700.00 for the secondary level. Final offers depend on the scope of the role and on your experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
