AI Reimagination Engineer

Description

The company makes memory and storage solutions and wants to change how businesses use information with AI.

This role sits in the generative AI centre of excellence and turns long, manual, multi-step workflows into autonomous systems.

You will work with business units, IT architecture, security and project staff to redesign processes and build the AI behind them.

You take projects from the first redesign through to a build the business can adopt and scale.

Responsibilities

• Break end-to-end processes into current-state flows and measure their effort and risk.
• Lead the review that asks whether each step should be removed, simplified or handed to an agent before any automation starts.
• Design future-state flows and the AI architecture, covering task and agent splits, orchestration, tool and data access, memory and context, and points where a person reviews output.
• Write agent workflows, prompt and context strategies, connector and integration needs, and evaluation criteria, following the company's Secure by Design and data classification standards.
• Build working agentic solutions yourself or guide platform engineers, and check fit and value before full delivery.
• Set testable human review controls and least-privilege access for each process step.
• Work with the business, architecture, security, platform engineers and the enterprise project management office through the first production release.
• Record value baselines during discovery, measure results at 30 and 90 days after release, and turn findings into reference flows, decomposition patterns and playbooks.
• Coach engineers and grow a group of agentic champions.

Requirements

• Minimum: a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI/ML, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience combining technical delivery with business process work.
• Minimum: a record of both breaking down complex business processes and building technical solutions.
• Minimum: 8+ years of total experience, including 3+ years in AI/ML, and recent hands-on work building agentic or LLM-based systems.
• Preferred: experience leading workshop-based process redesign and turning the output into requirements.
• Preferred: familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, security basics, and testing strategies for autonomous behaviour.
• Preferred: hands-on work with enterprise AI and automation platforms, plus skill in Python,.NET/C, SQL and APIs.
• Preferred: depth in agent orchestration, multi-agent development, context management and long-horizon tasks.
• Preferred: strong facilitation, writing and executive communication, including running discovery with business leaders and aligning business, engineering and risk teams.
