AI Lead Engineer, Technical Lead - Services AI Platform

Description

The company is hiring an AI Lead Engineer, Technical Lead to help build the engineering base of its Services AI Platform, a multi-tenant, production-grade system that runs agentic AI at enterprise scale.

This is a player-coach role: you write code yourself and also set technical direction, with ownership of a platform meant to be dependable, resilient and able to scale.

You will convert complicated enterprise workflows into automated, intelligent systems with measurable results across the company's global operations.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack components for the AI platform in Python and Angular, including interfaces for fine-tuning large language models and dashboards for tracking experiments.
• Design and tune multi-tenant agents with modular orchestration approaches such as ReAct and ReWOO so production agent workflows scale.
• Create Model Context Protocol servers that keep agents decoupled, so they communicate only through defined API boundaries.
• Build advanced retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, including Knowledge Graph RAG, LightRAG and RAPTOR hierarchical summaries, for sophisticated enterprise data retrieval.
• Connect vector and graph databases such as Neo4j and pgvector to support complex, thematic retrieval at platform scale.
• Write precise prompt and intent classification logic that prevents workflow collisions and makes sure agents read instructions correctly.
• Work with subject matter experts to turn their domain knowledge into agent-driven automation.
• Work with UI and API teams to deliver complete, end-to-end integrations across the platform.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years building AI and machine learning solutions that ran in production.
• At least 2 years of hands-on generative AI work, covering large language model development, retrieval-augmented generation and prompt engineering.
• At least 3 years leading technical teams and owning end-to-end delivery of complex software or AI platforms.
• Deep practical experience with AWS infrastructure and services for AI and machine learning workloads.
• A portfolio of AI solutions deployed into live business environments that shows both technical depth and delivery ownership.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or a related field.

Conditions

Hybrid role: 3 days a week in the office and 2 days remote.

Full-time position.

Base salary range: $120,800.00 to $170,800.00.
