AI Engineering Tech Lead

This role oversees several AI and GenAI projects from start to finish. You will keep daily delivery on track, coordinate cross-functional teams, work with stakeholders, and make sure AI solutions are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of delivering AI, GenAI, and automation projects from start to finish.
• Build and maintain project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and reports.
• Direct the work of architects, developers, business teams, and client stakeholders.
• Make sure AI governance, security, and delivery standards are followed.
• Monitor milestones, business results, and the value delivered.
• Give executives clear status updates and push issues to resolution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of program or project delivery as an engineering leader, including 3+ years leading AI initiatives.
• A solid grasp of AI and GenAI solutions, the Microsoft AI ecosystem, and AI governance.
• Experience running several AI projects at the same time.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Agile delivery.
• Preferred, but not required:
• Certification such as PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or an equivalent (preferred, not required).
• Experience leading enterprise AI transformation programs (preferred, not required).
• A proven record of delivering AI solutions in complex enterprise settings (preferred, not required).

Conditions

Base salary varies by geography and other factors.

For roles filled in Piscataway, NJ, the base salary is $130k - $145k/year, plus benefits.
