AI Engineer (Python) (AVP)

Description

The company is a global financial institution with more than 230,000 people. Its Tech team builds systems for its global lending business, and the company runs at very large scale, handling about $5 trillion daily across 180+ countries.

You will join an experienced software development team building a new AI system that powers one of the company's Global Lending Platforms. You will work with senior engineers who support your growth.

Responsibilities

• Build software components and applications for AI systems, mainly MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools and AI agent frameworks.
• Work as a dependable member of a SCRUM team, owning your tasks, delivering features on time, and writing production-grade code.
• Drive tasks to completion quickly in a results-focused setting while keeping engineering quality high.
• Review code, join technical discussions, and help set shared standards alongside your colleagues.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using large language models (LLMs) to solve real business problems, from idea stage through production deployment.
• Solid working knowledge of the Python AI/ML ecosystem, including Pydantic, REST API integration, database access, and orchestration frameworks such as ADK or LangGraph.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with complex data in enterprise environments.
• Ability to collaborate well and also work independently, whether in the office or remotely.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to research and learn new technical areas on your own.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
