2027 - Summer Software Engineer Intern, Dublin

Description

The company is looking for curious people to work alongside full-time engineers and teammates from other functions, picking up standard development methods and hands-on software engineering skills.

Interns join software engineering teams in the Product and Technology organization and ship production-grade code. Their work reaches internal teams, external customers and developer end users across the company's products and services.

The internship lasts 10 weeks and starts in June 2027.

The company's cloud-native data platform runs on AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure. It serves over 67,000 customers, including AI-native startups and approximately 75% of the Fortune 100.

The company has offices worldwide. The Early Talent Recruitment Team handles intern hiring, and interns can be considered for a full-time offer at the end of the summer.

Responses to applications may take up to six weeks, because the team reviews each application carefully.

Responsibilities

• Work inside a software engineering team on production code that other people will use.
• Collaborate with full-time engineers and teammates from other functions.
• Make contributions that remain in the product after the internship ends.

Requirements

• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Understand computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms and software design.
• Be fluent in at least one of Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, Node.js or another comparable object-oriented language.
• Have at least one quarter or semester of study left after the internship ends. Your graduation must fall in Spring 2028, Summer 2028, Fall 2028, Spring 2029 or Summer 2029.
• Be authorized to work in Ireland and provide copies of relevant documents if asked. The company may offer sponsorship to eligible candidates for certain roles.

Conditions

The internship is full-time, 40 hours a week, for 10 consecutive weeks between June and August.

Interns work under the hybrid model, designated as in office, and must attend their office location 3 to 5 days a week.
