Description

The role centers on video editing, scene composition, lighting, camera work, and assembling user acquisition ads from existing 3D assets. You will not need to build 3D assets from scratch.

The main job is making trailers for marketing across app stores and console and PC storefronts, including Google Play, App Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox. You will also make video ads for performance channels such as Facebook, Google Ads, TikTok, YouTube, and others.

Each game has its own visual and communication style, and you will create content that fits each one. The goal is to engage players and get them to download the game.

You will be part of the company Creative Agency, reporting to the Creative Agency Lead and working closely with the Marketing and User Acquisition team.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality video content that supports marketing and brings in new, engaged players.
  • Own each video from concept to final delivery.
  • Capture in-game footage straight from the game engine or a game build.
  • Adapt videos to each platform and channel, managing compression, encoding, and formatting for web, social media, and other destinations.
  • Improve videos with sound effects, music, text, graphics, and other elements.
  • Take feedback from the Creative Agency Lead, internal teams, and the licensor, and finish revisions on spec and on time.
  • Adjust quickly to input from marketing, legal, and licensing stakeholders so the final result meets their requirements.
  • Attend meetings and bring fresh creative ideas.
  • Help shape the creative direction, narrative, and tone of marketing videos.
  • Follow artistic, IP, and licensing guidelines, and keep videos consistent with the brand across campaigns and platforms.
  • Organize and maintain the video asset library, covering raw footage, finished videos, and other assets so they are easy to find and reuse.
  • Track how video ads perform and share insights and recommendations with internal teams to improve results.
  • Propose new ideas and formats, and suggest approaches to storytelling, pacing, and design.
  • Keep up with trends in gaming and video platforms and apply useful ones to your work.

Requirements

  • Fluent English with strong communication skills.
  • Solid experience in motion design, video editing, and video content creation.
  • Extensive experience with video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design, especially in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • An online portfolio and/or demo reel, included with your application.
  • Creativity and a drive to innovate.
  • Ability to manage the full creative process on your own, from asset preparation to final delivery, while following the brief.
  • Ability to handle several tasks with overlapping deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Strong artistic sense, sharp attention to detail, and an interest in trying new techniques.
  • Willingness to learn how to work with game-engine content.
  • Bonus: experience or passion for video games.
  • Bonus: experience with 3D applications such as 3ds Max, Blender, or Maya.
  • Bonus: experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Bonus: 2D skills or experience.
