Description
You'll build the operational bridge between what the company is legally and contractually required to do and how our technology actually does it. This is a build-from-scratch role: as we scale into our next phase, someone has to turn novel legal, security, and policy requirements into real technical controls, monitoring, and documentation that engineers will actually follow. That's you. You'll own how the company proves, in practice, that our systems do what our policies and commitments say they do.
This is not a legal role, and it's not a checklist compliance job. It's a technical program role for someone who speaks fluent engineer and fluent lawyer, and who is exceptionally good at turning ambiguous requirements into formal systems that work.
You'll report jointly to the General Counsel and the CTO, and work across legal, engineering, sales, and ops. That's deliberate. The whole point of the seat is that it sits in both worlds.

About the company
The company is the easiest way to turn the web into data AI agents can use. One API call converts any URL into clean, LLM-ready markdown or structured data. It's the boring-hard problem everyone building with LLMs eventually hits, solved.
We hit 8 figures in ARR in year one and more than doubled it in year two. Growth like this is rare, and we're just getting started.
We're a small team punching far above our weight, working out of SF HQ and our new Toronto Hub. Everyone here owns a real piece of the product and company, end to end, and runs it themselves. No hiding behind process or headcount.
This is a place for people who want to work at the frontier: an AI company building the infrastructure other AI companies run on, not one bolting AI onto an existing product. We move fast, go deep, and are building the tools superintelligence will rely on to gather data from the web.
