Description

The company is a market research business offering fast, flexible research solutions and an AI-powered insights platform that helps brands replace guesswork with customer-led decisions.

It has about 110 people, offices in Los Angeles and New York City, remote staff across the US, and a global team in India.

AI is part of how every role works. The Talent Acquisition Partner will own full-cycle recruiting, bring an AI-first approach to the TA function, and design automated workflows that run the hiring operation, treating AI as a thinking partner.

You will work with hiring managers in LA, New York, remote US and India. Many of the roles you fill require candidates to work from the office five days each week, so you must believe in that setup enough to explain it well.

Responsibilities

  • Run full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical roles, from sourcing through to offer.
  • Build candidate pipelines early using LinkedIn, Juicebox and other AI-powered sourcing platforms.
  • Create structured interview processes, scoring rubrics and debrief sessions.
  • Fill mainly fully in-office roles in LA and New York, and set honest expectations from the start.
  • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, not a scheduler. Coach them on interviewing, reducing bias and assessing candidates, and agree on role requirements and levels before requisitions open.
  • Build and maintain AI workflows and automations that cut manual work and speed up hiring.
  • Own the Ashby applicant tracking system, keeping data clean, workflows efficient and reporting accurate.
  • Track time to fill, quality of hire, offer acceptance, 90-day retention and funnel conversion.
  • Manage external agencies, including a dedicated India search partner.
  • Make sure pay transparency rules are met in every jurisdiction.
  • Research market pay and set salary bands with People and Finance.
  • Build competitive offers within set ranges and lead with the full value of the package.
  • Maintain the headcount tracker and work with leadership on role priorities and hiring timelines.
  • Work with Marketing on LinkedIn, Glassdoor and employer brand presence, and run the employee referral program.
  • Deliver a strong candidate experience from first contact through Day 30.
  • Success is measured by time to fill meeting benchmark SLAs, high candidate NPS and quality of hire, offer acceptance at or above benchmark, and 90-day retention held or improved.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or a related field.
  • 5+ years in talent acquisition with full-cycle ownership.
  • Experience hiring across borders and in distributed teams.
  • Hands-on use of Ashby or a similar modern ATS.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox or similar AI-powered sourcing tools.
  • Skill with compensation benchmarking tools such as Levels.fyi, Glassdoor, Radford or similar.
  • You think in systems and would build a sourcing agent rather than copy Boolean strings by hand.
  • You can attract strong candidates when pay is not the main draw.
  • You design and improve processes rather than only following them.
  • You push back, coach and hold the bar with hiring managers.
  • You quickly find ways to connect new AI tools to your work.
  • Strategic thinking, an AI-first approach, hiring manager coaching, recruiting analytics, employer branding, basic employment law, and clear communication from candidates to executives.
  • Discretion with confidential information, proactive problem-solving, resilience in a resource-limited setting, and curiosity about AI and recruiting trends.
  • Not a fit if you wait for tools or heavy structure, see recruiting as transactional or administrative, or need top-of-market pay for yourself or your candidates.
  • Preferred: experience in SaaS or market research.
  • Preferred: experience hiring technical roles in a SaaS environment.
