For more information, visit the company's site .

The company has a flexible workforce! If you happen to live close to one of our physical office locations our doors are open for you to come into the office as often as you'd like. Don't live near one of our offices? No worries: You can apply to work remotely in any country in which we have a physical presence.

The company's Infrastructure organization has the mission of building and delivering the compute orchestration environment, storage and data systems, and essential platform services behind all of the company. The breadth of the infrastructure portfolio spans Compute, Storage, Messaging, Transport, Core Platform, Ranking Platform, SRE, Security, and Compliance. and more, each with active roadmaps driving modernization, migrations, and platform evolution.

We are looking for an experienced Staff Technical Program Manager (IC5) who is a generalist across all things infrastructure. This role requires strong TPM skills paired with strong technical knowledge to effectively drive programs across the full breadth of the company's infrastructure stack. You will plan and execute complex, multi-team programs, from cluster migrations and storage modernization to Kafka client rollouts, with a deep understanding of the processes, trade-offs, and dependencies involved.

Why this role matters:

The company's infrastructure is undergoing its most significant modernization in company history. We are migrating off legacy clusters, standing up intent-based compute environments, evolving our storage and messaging platforms, scaling ML serving to GPU, and expanding to multi-region serving, all simultaneously across 30+ platform teams. This is a rare opportunity to partner with world-class engineering teams at the intersection of all of these efforts, serving as the connective tissue that keeps the company's most complex infrastructure programs on track, dependencies visible, and execution aligned to a shared long-term strategy.

If you’re looking to positively and directly impact an already awesome company culture, we’d like to hear from you!

Who we are:

The Technical Program Management Office (Tech PMO) exists to accelerate , scale , and empower all teams at the company to do their best work and advance our company’s mission. We operate from within the office of the CTO, maximizing our ability to galvanize and drive technical programs and solutions to solve company-wide problems. Our reach extends across the entire company, driving key strategic focus areas for the business.

Responsibilities

  • You will own and drive programs across the full breadth of the company's infrastructure stack, spanning Compute, Storage, Messaging, Transport, Core Platform, Ranking Platform, Security, and Compliance. Your portfolio will include large-scale migrations, tooling modernization, and platform evolution efforts. You will partner deeply with engineering teams as a technical peer, not from the stratosphere, but in the details, bringing programs to completion, balancing risk across frontend, backend, and revenue-producing teams, and ensuring execution stays aligned to the company's long-term infrastructure strategy.
  • Get Things Done . More than just displaying activity, counting sprint points, or delivering regular updates. You actually bring programs to completion and deliver real accomplishments for the business, and help your teams understand the difference.
  • Dive into Details . You understand the details of their programs and help guide them with and in active partnership with their teams. You don’t just stay in the stratosphere or in an abstract process. You have the technical judgment to act as a partner with your teams in planning and decision making.
  • Make Work Repeatable . You create and improve processes that smooth the path for others and prevent and remove recurring organizational toil (and the lower quality bar that often allows). You reuse processes developed elsewhere, and aid in adoption of standards where relevant.
  • Leverage AI to Improve Program Outcomes. Use AI and LLM-assisted tooling to automate reporting, improve cost anomaly detection, accelerate data analysis, and enhance program management workflows, ensuring the Cost & Capacity function operates with maximum leverage.
  • Mentor & Lead . You are good at, and enjoy, informally aiding others in developing key organizational and program skills. You’re a leader within the Program Management org, your programs, and support people in the process.
  • Bring Order out of Chaos . You are known for leaving a program and the teams you support in a position of stronger organization than where they started, and those teams continue to succeed even when you are no longer specifically engaged in the program.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of collective experience in engineering and program management roles.
  • Strong technical depth and judgment. You are comfortable discussing Kubernetes orchestration, storage engines, messaging systems (Kafka), ML serving infrastructure, deployment pipelines, CDN and traffic management, and data platform architectures. You can credibly challenge technical plans and identify risks that engineering teams may overlook. You have experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD systems, observability platforms, and container orchestration is highly valued.
  • Strong Technical Program Management skills. You can scope, schedule, and drive long-term programs with multiple milestones, coordinating across dozens of teams and managing complex dependency chains. You have a proven track record driving large-scale migrations and deprecations in cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills. You can present cost narratives to Finance leadership and engineering directors+ with equal confidence.
  • Experience working with observability and data platforms (Grafana, BigQuery, Hex, Looker, or similar) to build cost reporting and alerting.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI/LLM tooling to improve program management workflows, automate reporting, or enhance engineering productivity.
  • A team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proactive and curious by nature. You are creative and enjoy taking unique approaches to solve problems.
  • Pragmatic. You take an iterative approach to developing processes and systems
