Staff Product Designer

The Design team turns complex physiology into clear, useful experiences. You would help shape the point where data becomes understanding and understanding becomes action.

Responsibilities

• Develop experiences around new sensing features and next-generation hardware.
• Turn ideas into wireframes, prototypes and polished visual designs for the app and ring, using human-centered interface principles that encourage engagement and action.
• Work with Engineering, Product, Science, Research and Design to add features that give more context on sleep, activity, stress, recovery, and metabolic and heart health, fitting the wider app and keeping quality consistent.

Requirements

• 10+ years designing across digital surfaces, including mobile.
• Experience with wearables, sensors or connected devices.
• Record of project leadership, creative thinking and cross-functional work that shaped product features, including 0→1 work.
• Strong Figma skills and command of modern design tools.
• Portfolio showing design thinking, hands-on craft and problem solving.
• Open, collaborative communication across disciplines and time zones.
• High curiosity about technology, supported by strong design craft.
• Commitment to inclusive and accessible products.
• A genuine interest in health.
• Background building complex platforms.
• Background working on NPI projects.

Conditions

Hybrid role based in the San Francisco office.

Pay follows a market-based approach that may vary by location. US locations fall into tiers set by a cost of labor index for the area. Most offers land nearer the starting range, while final pay depends on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity and market conditions. Ranges may change.

Region 1 pay range: $198,050 - $233,000.

Candidates residing in Alaska (AK), Delaware (DE), Iowa (IA), Mississippi (MS), Nebraska (NE), South Dakota (SD), West Virginia (WV) or Wisconsin (WI) are not being considered.
