Description

The company is looking for a Product Manager to join the ClickStack team and own major parts of the product end to end.

This is a hands-on product role. You’ll work directly with customers, use and instrument the product yourself, develop a deep understanding of the underlying systems, and turn that understanding into a shipped product. Initial focus areas are likely to include ClickStack onboarding and cloud workflows, alerting, and the broader telemetry ingestion and integration ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Own major observability product areas from customer discovery through product definition, delivery, adoption, and iteration.
  • Take ownership of areas such as alerting, anomaly detection, onboarding, provisioning, and telemetry integrations.
  • Work directly with customers and prospects to understand observability use cases, migration requirements, operational workflows, and emerging needs.
  • Improve the end-to-end onboarding experience, including getting telemetry into ClickStack, configuring the product, and migrating from existing observability platforms.
  • Drive integrations across the observability ecosystem, including OpenTelemetry and common cloud, infrastructure, and logging sources.
  • Act as user 0. Set up environments yourself, instrument applications, send telemetry, reproduce customer workflows, and use the product at a meaningful scale.
  • Work closely with engineering and design, including prototyping workflows yourself when useful rather than relying exclusively on written requirements.
  • Design end-to-end observability experiences with both engineers and AI agents as first-class users.
  • Coordinate broadly across teams and products where ClickStack depends on or integrates with other parts of the the company ecosystem and external products.
  • Work across product boundaries to shape cohesive experiences spanning ClickStack, the company Cloud, and complementary products and integrations.
  • Stay close to customers after shipping and use adoption, product data, and direct feedback to determine what needs to improve next.
  • What you bring
  • Experience driving an observability product or platform in a similar-stage or later-stage company.
  • A proven track record of shipping successful products in the observability SaaS space.
  • Strong technical depth. You’re comfortable moving from a user workflow into telemetry pipelines, APIs, schemas, queries, databases, and infrastructure when necessary.
  • A hands-on working style. You’re comfortable deploying software, instrumenting applications, debugging integrations, querying data, and ideally building prototypes or contributing code.
  • Strong product judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous customer problems into concrete product decisions.
  • Comfort working directly with technical users and enterprise customers, including during migrations and complex evaluations.
  • Comfort operating in a dynamic environment where priorities, ownership boundaries, and the problems that need attention can change quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with engineering, design, customers, field teams, and leadership.
  • Experience working with and enabling a large and diverse sales team, supporting enterprise customers and complex sales cycles.
  • Experience engaging with open source communities, including managing community expectations and incorporating community-driven input and contributions.
  • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and the broader observability ecosystem.
