What do we need
Scientists are solving some of the hardest problems in the world. Your job is to make sure they find the tools that help them do it.
As a Solution Marketing Manager at Dotmatics, you'll work at the center of science and communication, deeply understanding how researchers in your application area think, what they're trying to accomplish, and what gets in their way. You'll translate that understanding into stories, campaigns, and content that connect scientists with the right solutions at the right moment.
From a product perspective, Luma and ELN are your primary vehicles. Both require messaging that works at the enterprise level and resonates with specific scientific audiences. Dotmatics also has a broad portfolio of specialized products, each with their own dedicated marketers. Your job is not to own those products, but to connect them into compelling solution narratives when they're relevant to your audience and use case.
We're looking for someone who is genuinely curious about how scientists work, who loves the challenge of making complex ideas land, and who finds real satisfaction in building something from the ground up. If that sounds like you, we'd love to talk.
In this role you will get to :
Own the positioning, messaging, and content development for your scientific application area: personas, use cases, value propositions, differentiation, and collateral.
Develop strategic campaign briefs that translate positioning into actionable guidance for demand generation and integrated marketing.
Build and maintain sales enablement materials that help the Dotmatics commercial team have better conversations, including pitch frameworks, solution narratives, objection handling, and competitive context.
Partner with the wider marketing team to deliver the message to the market.
Engage directly with internal subject matter experts and customers to gather insights and shape strategy.
Act as the voice of your scientific audience across marketing and sales, influencing decisions and building alignment across senior stakeholders.
We are looking for people who have 5+ years in a role where science and communication intersect: marketing, field applications, science communications, or similar, ideally in life sciences or research software.
Scientific grounding to have credible conversations with researchers. A degree in a relevant discipline can be a real advantage here, and relevant hands-on experience is equally welcome.
A track record of taking something complicated and making it click for an audience who didn't have time to become an expert.
You've had the chance to build something from scratch before, and you want to do it again.
You're comfortable working across functions and influencing without direct authority.
Research shows us the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting outstanding candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply — we’d love to hear from you.
Dotmatics is an equal opportunity employer. We are a welcoming place for everyone, and we do our best to make sure all people feel supported and connected at work.
