Senior Software Engineer - Computer Vision

The Computer Vision team builds the AI and machine learning models behind the company's video analytics, including people and vehicle detection, license plate recognition and other intelligent video tools.

Recent team projects include:

Deploying a TensorFlow binary classifier that detects binary states across millions of cameras

Spotting unexpected objects added to or removed from a scene

Measuring object and people counts and how often they appear

Building models that embed text and images, plus vision language models

Developing plate-reading models and bringing LPR to edge hardware

Developing face recognition models and deploying real-time face matching

Responsibilities

• Write clean, modular C++ code
• Develop traditional computer vision algorithms
• Train deep learning networks with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or similar frameworks
• Design data structures and system architecture

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, with research experience preferably
• Have 4+ years of software engineering experience in industry
• Have 1+ years of work or research experience with current neural network frameworks
• Have mastered at least one practical programming language
• Have worked on agile software development teams

Conditions

You must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week

Employment visas are sponsored for this role, including taking over existing sponsorships; after an offer, the company will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa

The estimated annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time roles is $200,000 to $300,000 USD, made up of base pay and commissions where applicable

Starting pay depends on primary work location, skills and experience, market demand and internal parity
