Description

The company is building Physical AI, meaning real-world robots for food, mining, and transport, starting with those three industries.

Its systems aim to understand, predict, and control physical operations with precision, making them more reliable, scalable, and productive.

The work spans hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. Machines are deployed into real environments, operated, studied, and refined until they run at scale.

The team includes roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders.

This role is on the Transport Infrastructure side of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Create developer tooling, APIs, and workflows so autonomous systems engineers can deploy, test, and iterate quickly on vehicle hardware and simulation environments.
  • Build and run high-throughput GPU clusters for deep learning training, fleet simulation, and large-scale data ingestion.
  • Design resilient, low-latency networking that carries data between vehicles in the field and distributed cloud data centers.
  • Build scalable telemetry, logging, metrics, and tracing to monitor the health, performance, and safety of vehicle fleets and cloud services in real time.
  • Build clean abstractions and proxy interfaces that connect the Transport domain to the company's central infrastructure stack.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience designing, building, and running high-concurrency distributed backend systems in production, using Go, C++, Rust, or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containers, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, gRPC, WebSockets, MQTT), load balancing, and edge-to-cloud or data center communication.
  • Experience managing compute orchestration, high-throughput storage pipelines, or GPU workloads for AI/ML training and simulation.
  • Broad system design skills and a generalist infrastructure mindset, comfortable moving between networking, developer tooling, and compute clusters as priorities change.
  • Hands-on hardware experience is a strong plus.

Conditions
