Description

The company is hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer for its team that supports a large Federal client.

You will split your time between building software yourself and acting as the senior technical authority on a complex Salesforce environment. You will be the go-to Salesforce subject matter expert, writing and reviewing code while also offering architectural direction and an independent view on technical choices.

This is a full-time, regular role with no travel and no security clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and maintain complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Lead solution architecture and technical design work, and contribute to it.
  • Review code and technical designs for quality, security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Give an independent technical view on architecture decisions, and push back on proposed approaches when you have good reason to.
  • Build and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications.
  • Set and promote standards for Salesforce development, architecture, and integration.
  • Find technical debt, risks, and areas where the platform can be improved.
  • Assess how Salesforce and connected application upgrades and platform changes will affect the technical landscape.
  • Mentor developers and give technical guidance across the project team.
  • Support technical planning, troubleshooting, and the long-term platform strategy.

Requirements

  • Required: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Required: Seven or more years of software development or related work.
  • Required: Five or more years of hands-on Salesforce development, with steadily growing technical responsibility.
  • Required: Proven hands-on work developing, customizing, and troubleshooting Lightning Web Components, including JavaScript, Apex integration, and reusable UI components.
  • Required: Strong hands-on skills in Apex, SOQL and SOSL, Salesforce APIs, automation, security, and integrations.
  • Required: A track record of designing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions.
  • Required: A solid grasp of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, integration patterns, security, scalability, and governor limits.
  • Required: Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce deployment practices.
  • Required: Experience reviewing code and evaluating technical designs.
  • Required: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Required: Working knowledge of the Agile Scrum software development lifecycle.
  • Required: You must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Desired: Experience with enterprise ERP integrations.
  • Desired: Experience mentoring Salesforce development teams.
  • Desired: A Salesforce certification such as Certified Platform Developer, Certified Application Architect, or another relevant Salesforce credential.

Conditions

Salary depends on several factors, including geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

Because the role can be based in more than one location, the posted range is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range is $98,500-$206,800.

The company supports flexible schedules so employees can balance quality work with their personal lives.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time off.
  • A flexible time off benefit that lets you take the time you need.
  • Access to robust learning resources to support your career goals.
