Join us in transforming the life sciences industry , committed to making a positive impact on its customers, employees, and communities.

Responsibilities

  • As Senior QA Engineer for a new product within Veeva, you will be a founding member of a team building our next major AI-driven platform — one that will transform how Life Sciences companies manage safety, regulatory, and clinical development. The team will be AI-first in two meaningful ways: using AI to drive engineering productivity and strong engineering discipline, and building a product that applies AI in genuinely innovative ways to problems that matter.
  • You'll have significant ownership over the QA process, documentation and tools in a startup-like setting. This role is for a hands-on, self-starter who thrives on balancing performance, cost, and reliability.
  • Within your first 3 months, you will have live customers on the platform and a thriving, growing team behind it - directly accelerating how customers bring life-saving products to market.
  • Implement the AI based QA process. You will work closely with engineers and production operations to establish the QA process for Falcon
  • Own platform test automation. You will develop and maintain automated test-cases for the Falcon platform
  • Support Releases. You will partner with engineering and production operations to assist with the process and documentation to ensure smooth releases
  • Maintain test environments and integrations. In partnership with engineering, you will help to maintain the test environments and integrations for Falcon

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a QA role, with a strong focus on automation, tooling, and process oversight
  • Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated test suites covering sanity, boundary, negative, concurrency, and compatibility scenarios
  • Programming Skills: You have extensive experience in a programming language like Python, TypeScript or Java
  • Strong technical background in Unix/Linux command-line environments for log analysis and backend debugging
  • Proficiency with SQL for database querying and data validation
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States. Veeva will not provide sponsorship at this time
  • Experience utilizing AI testing tools, prompt engineering for test-case generation, LLM output evaluation, or generative AI to optimize testing workflows
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python
  • Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch)
  • Knowledge of artifact management solutions (Nexus, ECR)
  • Familiarity with code validation and linting tools (Sonar)
  • Interviewing with Veeva
  • We value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process. Here is the process you can expect.
  • Follow the application process and submit your resume.
  • Within 3 days, you will receive a link to a personality assessment administered by a third party.
  • Once you complete the assessment, our team will review your full application package and follow up via email with our decision.
  • If moving to the interview stage, the process is as follows:
  • A conversation with the hiring manager
  • A practical case exercise
  • A final conversation with our group's Senior Leader.
  • Once all interviews are complete, the manager will be in touch with a final decision.
