Description

The company builds an AI platform for market intelligence and workflow automation, used by thousands of large organizations to make faster, better-informed business and finance decisions.

Its content library holds more than 500 million premium business documents, including equity research, earnings call transcripts, expert interviews, filings, news, and proprietary internal material.

This senior product security engineer role leads the design and build of secure, scalable, trustworthy products. You will work with architects, engineers, and product teams to build security into each stage of development.

The role covers AI and ML security, secure architecture, threat modeling, and customer assurance. You will set the standards, automation, and frameworks that keep intelligent products secure at scale.

Responsibilities

  • About 30% of your time goes to AI security. Design and enforce controls for model training, data pipelines, inference environments, and agentic workflows.
  • Find and reduce AI-specific attacks such as prompt injection, data poisoning, model inversion, and model theft.
  • Build controls that verify model provenance and integrity and keep AI operations auditable.
  • Work with governance and compliance teams to map AI security to NIST AI RMF and the EU AI Act.
  • About 30% goes to secure architecture and the development lifecycle. Build security into application and cloud systems together with architects, engineers, and product teams.
  • Build in security, privacy, and compliance from the start.
  • Write and maintain secure development standards, guidance, and best practices.
  • About 20% goes to threat modeling and security review. Lead threat models, secure design reviews, and risk assessments throughout the lifecycle.
  • Create security automation and governance that fits into developer workflows.
  • About 10% goes to customer security assurance. Write questionnaire answers, security whitepapers, and trust materials that help close enterprise deals.
  • Represent product security in customer, cross-functional, and leadership meetings.
  • About 10% goes to leadership. Coach teams on secure coding, AI risk, and secure design.
  • Build a security-first culture through advocacy, documentation, and training.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7+ years of work in product, application, or cloud security engineering.
  • Strong grasp of how to build security into the lifecycle, model threats, and design secure architectures.
  • Ability to read and review code to support threat models and design reviews.
  • Hands-on experience securing AI/ML pipelines, data workflows, and model-serving systems, plus working knowledge of LLM security issues such as prompt injection, model integrity, and provenance.
  • Proven cloud security knowledge across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Working familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD environments.
  • Understanding of encryption: symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, TLS and mTLS, key management, and secrets handling.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization in modern apps, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, and ABAC.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional security work with engineering, product, and compliance, getting security into roadmaps, shaping architecture choices, and aligning stakeholders.
  • Coding skill in one or more of Python, Java, or JavaScript for building security tools and automation.
  • Container and orchestration security, including Kubernetes runtime protection.
  • Software supply chain security and verifying artifact integrity.
  • Bug bounty program experience: triaging reports, running root-cause analysis, and turning findings into lasting security fixes.
  • Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and NIST AI RMF frameworks.
  • Certifications such as CKS, CISSP, CSSLP, or AI/ML security credentials.
