Description

About the Role at RobCo

RobCo is building the category of Autonomous Industrial Robotics and we're doing it fast. We believe that automating the ordinary frees humans to do the extraordinary, and we're building the end-to-end robotics infrastructure to make that possible - hardware, software, and AI in one stack that just works.

Responsibilities

  • This is a senior, high-trust role owning the product narrative for Alfie, RobCo's flagship Physical AI product line - the fastest-moving, highest-margin part of our business and the centerpiece of our category leadership story. You'll sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing - with a named Product counterpart and a standing seat at roadmap and design reviews.
  • You'll also carry a rare kind of stakes: Alfie debuts publicly at RobCoN in March 2027 - the biggest product launch in RobCo's history. Getting there is a multi-month campaign spanning film, digital, and physical activation, and you will own video production for Alfie end-to-end across it. This is the kind of launch most product marketers wait a career for.
  • We care more about how well you understand the technology - and the people selling it - than about your marketing pedigree. If you've spent years elbow-deep in robotics, automation, or industrial engineering, and you have a real talent for explaining complex things clearly - to a sales rep, a customer, or a skeptical engineer - we want to hear from you. A background in Product Marketing is a plus, not a prerequisite.
  • Your Responsibilities
  • Own the Alfie & Physical AI Narrative
  • Develop the core messaging and positioning for Alfie - value props, differentiators, use cases - and own the framework that Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and External Comms all draw from.
  • Translate complex robotics and AI concepts into language that lands with the audience in front of you, whether that's a plant manager, a procurement lead, or a skeptical engineer.
  • Content & Sales Enablement
  • Own the Alfie whitepaper, technical datasheets, solution briefs, and use case fact sheets - written to be used, not filed away.
  • Build and own the Alfie sales enablement deck, competitive battlecards, and demo scripts - and drive adoption to 100% among Alfie-selling AEs, not just ship-and-hope.
  • Run enablement sessions so commercial teams can articulate Alfie's value confidently and consistently.
  • A Real Seat at the Product Table
  • Named Product/Engineering counterpart and a recurring, calendar-mandated syncs.
  • Standing invite to Alfie roadmap - access by default.
  • Close the loop: bring field and customer insight back into Product, and get roadmap context out to Sales before it's old news.
  • RobCoN Launch & Content Production
  • Own video production for Alfie end-to-end - from the recurring proof-point films that build the campaign through to the flagship film that plays live on the RobCoN stage.
  • Drive Alfie's presence across the full run-up to RobCoN - our biggest product launch to date - partnering closely with Product and external creative partners to ship against a fixed, public-facing calendar.
  • Own the RobCoN messaging framework and speaker briefing materials, and help shape how the live stage moments land.
  • This is a high-visibility, high-stakes mandate: the work you ship here will be seen by the entire company, our customers, and the market, at the most important moment in RobCo's history so far.
  • We're Looking for Someone Who Has
  • 6+ years of relevant experience - this can be Product Marketing, but just as easily Pre-Sales/Solutions Engineering, Applications Engineering, Technical Consulting, Product Management, or a hands-on role in robotics, automation, or industrial tech. We're hiring for depth of technical understanding first.
  • Real fluency in robotics, automation, mechatronics, industrial hardware/software systems, or AI - gained on the job, not just in a classroom.
  • A track record of turning technical complexity into content people actually use - whatever form that took: sales decks, technical docs, training materials, customer-facing explainers.
  • Comfortable owning a narrative end-to-end - not just executing someone else's brief.
  • Experience owning content production end-to-end - from briefing creative partners and managing a campaign calendar to taking projects from concept through to finished content.
  • Fluent in English; German is a strong plus.
  • Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with RaaS, SaaS, or hardware-software business models.
  • Experience running a major product launch or live keynote-style event end-to-end.
  • Experience presenting to both technical and executive audiences.

Benefits

  • The category of Autonomous Industrial Robotics is being defined right now, and our partner ecosystem is one of the key levers for how we scale across Europe and into the US. As the first person in this function, you will have a rare combination of strategic ownership and direct impact - building something from scratch that will matter at company scale.
  • Own a function end-to-end from day one, with direct access to senior leadership
  • Work at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships in a company at a category-defining moment
  • Wellpass membership (7,200+ studios across Germany), regular team events, and a team that takes both the work and the culture seriously
  • Flexible working hours, a modern office, and - depending on the role - the option to work from home.
  • Regular team events - from relaxed beer & pizza nights on the rooftop terrace to shared experiences on ski trips or at Oktoberfest.
  • About RobCo
  • Founded in Munich in 2020, RobCo leads the transition toward fully Autonomous Industrial Robotics. Our mission is to deploy RobCo in every factory - solving the industrial labor shortage through end-to-end robotics that just works. Powered by Physical AI, our solutions combine a scalable modular hardware architecture with intelligent software that adapts to your use case, improves over time, and requires zero upfront investment through our Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model.
  • We solve our customers' most pressing pain points - labor shortage, cost pressure, workplace safety, and national reshoring - across the full spectrum of Autonomous Industrial Robotics. With $160M raised from investors including Lightspeed, Lingotto Innovation, and Sequoia, 200+ people globally, and 2.5M+ operating hours in the field, we are deploying robots in factories across Europe and the United States - with our US operations headquartered in Austin, TX, and our RobCo Bay Area Demo Lab in San Francisco.
  • Don’t meet every single requirement? If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
  • At RobCo, applicants are selected regardless of ethnic origin, religion, gender, age, disability, or sexual orientation. All decisions throughout the recruitment process are based solely on applicants’ qualifications, skills, knowledge, and experience, as well as relevant business requirements.
