Description

Hinge Health is pioneering the world's most patient-centered Digital Musculoskeletal (MSK) Clinic. We are building a world-class R&D organization where engineers, product managers and designers can move fast with confidence, create high-quality solutions and stay deeply engaged in their work.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead Agentic Engineering and Developer Experience across Hinge Health R&D. In this role, you will treat the software development lifecycle as a product—using agentic workflows, developer platforms, and automation to transform how we build, test, deploy, and operate software.

You will own the product strategy and roadmap for improving the end-to-end developer experience, identifying and eliminating friction from concept and code creation through testing, deployment, and observability. Your goal will be to help our teams deliver high-quality products faster, more reliably, and with greater confidence. Working closely with engineering and technical leaders, you will uncover where development slows down, identify the highest-leverage opportunities for improvement, and translate them into products, platforms, and workflows that drive measurable gains in developer velocity, software quality, and developer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • You will define and drive Hinge Health’s strategy for Agentic Engineering and Developer Experience, partnering with technical leaders across Service Enablement, App Enablement, Platform Quality, SRE, Security, and Infrastructure to identify where AI agents, automation, developer platforms, and workflow improvements can meaningfully increase R&D capacity. You will own developer efficiency as a product area, translating real-world engineering friction into prioritized quarterly roadmaps and measurable investments that improve how teams build, ship and operate software.
  • Advance Agentic Development: Identify, validate, and scale AI-powered workflows across coding, testing, debugging, observability, and knowledge discovery. Measure success through demonstrated improvements in productivity, quality, and developer experience—not tool adoption alone.
  • Accelerate Developer Velocity: Improve local development, CI/CD, build and test infrastructure, code review, ephemeral environments, and release workflows to shorten feedback loops and reduce lead time for changes.
  • Build Paved Roads: Partner with engineering teams to create reusable platforms, self-service capabilities, and standardized development paths that reduce unnecessary complexity and make it easier to build and ship software.
  • Measure Engineering Effectiveness: Establish and track a clear measurement framework spanning DXI, DORA metrics, PR throughput and cycle time, deployment frequency, lead time for changes, build and test performance, MTTR, and developer satisfaction.
  • Represent the Developer Voice: Use listening tours, workflow analysis, engineering data, and developer feedback to identify friction and translate it into prioritized product opportunities.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Adoption: Partner across App Enablement, Security, Infrastructure, and SRE to improve development and release workflows while balancing velocity with reliability, compliance, security, and platform scalability. Drive adoption of new developer platforms, agentic capabilities, and engineering practices across a large, distributed R&D organization.

Requirements

  • We are looking for a highly technical product leader who can partner with engineers and translate complex engineering challenges into product strategy.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, including experience with developer experience, engineering productivity, developer platforms, infrastructure, or other deeply technical products.
  • Strong understanding of modern software development, including CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, testing, observability, and release processes.
  • Experience using engineering productivity or developer experience metrics to identify opportunities and measure impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional technical initiatives and drive adoption of new tools, platforms, or engineering practices.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous hands-on software engineering or other technical experience.
  • Experience with agentic development workflows or AI tools that measurably improve developer productivity.
  • Experience building or scaling internal developer platforms, platform engineering capabilities, or complex application development environments.
  • Beware of Phishing Attempts: We've noticed an increase in phishing where fraudsters impersonate employees and send fake job offers to steal sensitive information. We'll never ask for financial details during the hiring process and only use "@ hingehealth.com " emails. If you receive a suspicious offer, stop communication and report it to the US FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center. To verify an email from our recruiting team, forward it to security@hingehealth.com .
