Description

The company is building the Lucie Health Marketplace, a new all-in-one storefront for shopping for healthcare, in the same way people already buy cars, homes and everyday goods.

The company was founded in 2012 and builds its health insurance on a full stack technology platform, with members at the centre of what it does.

The marketplace serves D2C and CHOICE employee shoppers. It uses AI and broker support to help them compare health plans, supplemental products, telehealth benefits and other healthcare goods and services.

The platform is meant to reach millions of entrepreneurs, full- and part-time employees, gig workers and early retirees.

You will set the marketplace product strategy and work closely with the Engineering, Data and Design teams. You will set priorities across growth, user experience, AI investment and strategic partnerships, and work with the product managers for the enrollment platform and ICHRA tooling to build one end-to-end shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision, strategy and roadmap for the product investments behind the marketplace, and deliver solutions that fit that strategy.
  • Set OKRs and KPIs that measure business and operational results, and keep looking for ways to improve.
  • Find and bring together the right people to solve strategic or execution problems, including problems that are not yet clearly defined.
  • Work across teams and domains on hard problems, find the root cause quickly, and weigh speed, scalability and quality when choosing a fix.
  • Lead complex initiatives and move people forward without direct authority. Own timelines, cross-team accountability and risk.
  • Work with engineers, product managers and operations partners to learn what users need and ship features that improve operational and financial efficiency.
  • Write clear, complete requirements and share them across stakeholders using data and user research. Produce documents that junior team members can learn from.
  • Help grow the product team by mentoring junior team members.
  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Take on other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, operations experts and others in a product management or closely related role.
  • 4+ years of experience running rigorous prioritization processes.
  • 4+ years of experience with technology systems, including backend services, database relationships and database tools such as SQL.
  • 2+ years of experience leading complex initiatives that span several domains.
  • 2+ years of experience finding the root cause of unclear problems, building a roadmap to solve them and delivering against it.
  • Bonus: experience in ecommerce or two-sided marketplaces is preferred.
  • Bonus: deep knowledge of A/B testing practices.
