The Senior Product Manager for Country Payroll will help shape product strategy and roadmap for payroll capabilities across one or more countries, ensuring compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements while driving a best-in-class payroll experience for customers. Our Product Managers are the voice of the customer and domain specialists. Drawing on your own proven experience and expertise, and in collaboration with our customers, you will be responsible for contributing to our next generation payroll solution.

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for country-specific payroll functionality
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and localization teams to ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met across supported countries
  • Translate complex payroll regulations and customer needs into clear product requirements and user stories
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and QA to deliver payroll features on time and with high quality
  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders (implementation, support, sales) to gather feedback and prioritize the backlog
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting country payroll
  • Define and track success metrics (KPIs) for payroll product initiatives
  • Support go-to-market activities, including documentation, training, and release communications

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 2-3 years focused on payroll
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, statutory compliance, and/or multi-country payroll operations
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, regulated products in a SaaS environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across legal, compliance, engineering, and customer-facing teams
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to inform product decisions
  • Experience with agile product development methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience a plus
  • Preferred
  • Experience with global or multi-country payroll platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP)
  • Familiarity with payroll tax regulations in one or more specific countries/regions
  • Our Approach to Flexible Work
  • With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
