Description

The company works with technology/ISV and channel partners. This role owns the marketing side of those relationships and turns them into joint demand, awareness and enablement. The Partnership team opens the doors, and you build the working relationship with the partner's marketing organization while keeping the Partnership team informed of your actions.

Within 6 to 12 months, success means 4 joint marketing motions launched across technology and channel partners, partner marketing driving 20% of the total partner pipeline that Alliances carries, a repeatable co-marketing playbook that partners want to run again, and MDF spent against measurable return.

Responsibilities

  • Build a co-marketing demand engine with technology/ISV and channel partners.
  • Plan and run joint campaigns, field events, webinars and co-sponsorships.
  • Find opportunities yourself: which events a partner attends, where a co-sponsorship makes sense and which campaign suits which partner, rather than waiting for the Partnership team to raise them.
  • Decide where market development funds (MDF) go, aiming at the joint activities with the highest return, in consultation with marketing leadership.
  • Write joint partner-facing content such as co-branded decks, co-written white papers and partner-focused assets. You own these, drawing on PMM for new material where it fits.
  • Work with the TMM and PMM on the technical substance.
  • Get existing platform content, including white papers, messaging and campaign assets, into partners' hands so they can take it to customers.
  • Turn internal and customer release content into a quarterly partner digest, paced so partners can absorb it and act on it.
  • Equip partner marketing and field teams with the messaging, positioning and assets they need to present the platform credibly to customers.
  • Keep partner-facing material current as the platform ships.

Requirements

  • Able to write a white paper and to manage 5 partners and 3 internal teams through to a shipped campaign.
  • Business-side owner with editorial judgment, comfortable enough with data, AI and infrastructure topics to be credible with partners, and able to tell when to bring in TMM, PMM or SE specialists.
  • Has deployed MDF and run co-sponsorship or joint-event programs from start to finish.
  • 12+ years in partner, channel, co-marketing or field marketing in B2B tech or enterprise software.
