The IT team is hiring a Senior IT Systems Engineer to support its SaaS collaboration and endpoint management platforms, covering both engineering projects and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalations and day-to-day administration of the SaaS platforms.
• Provide Tier 3 IT support.
• Own lifecycle management for the core collaboration and endpoint management platforms.
• Set up and maintain policies, software deployment, patching and security compliance for Mac and Windows endpoints using Jamf and Intune.
• Write automation scripts and workflows in Python, PowerShell or Okta Workflows to save admin time and improve the user experience.
• Monitor system health, performance and usage, and fix or escalate problems early.
• Work with Security, Engineering, HR and Legal so SaaS tools fit company infrastructure and processes.
• Run investigations and discovery across systems for Legal and HR.
• Help with vendor management and product evaluations.
• Lead solutions and project work.
• Add new applications to single sign-on.
• Write and maintain technical operating procedures, policies and engineering roadmaps.
• Work with the Security team so the platform is designed and built around security best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable experience.
• 3+ years supporting SaaS collaboration tools and Mac and Windows endpoint management.
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Deep knowledge of email delivery flow, IT security and IAM concepts.
• Understanding of RBAC and permissions models across core SaaS applications.
• Scripting and automation experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Broad IT knowledge, hands-on depth in the tools, and a security-first approach.

Conditions

The role is listed as remote and carries the VA1 location tag.

California pay range: $130,000 - $172,000 USD.

Washington pay range: $115,200 - $144,000 USD.

Colorado pay range: $105,600 - $132,000 USD.

New York City pay range: $115,200 - $144,000 USD.

Illinois pay range: $105,600 - $132,000 USD.

The displayed range is the minimum and maximum target for new-hire salaries across all US locations, set by role, level and location.

Individual pay within that range depends on work location and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
