Senior Deployment Strategist, Migration Delivery

  • Office
  • 6+ years

Salary

Not stated

Description

The company is hiring Deployment Strategists to lead engagements for high-stakes customer migrations and platform modernizations.

The role owns the full delivery lifecycle for fast-paced, high-impact engagements, typically 12 weeks or less, that move enterprise customers to modern platforms such as MC Next, Revenue Cloud, Tableau, and Data Cloud.

The work is an AI-native delivery model and blends program management, engagement leadership, and business analysis. You lead the strategy and cross-functional delivery pods rather than tracking a schedule from the side.

Applicants may apply for a maximum of 3 roles within 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Own the engagement from start to finish as the single point of accountability across discovery, migration strategy, execution oversight, and value realization and handoff.
  • Set up engagement governance, track critical-path milestones, manage scope, and resolve delivery risks before they escalate.
  • Run the daily rhythm of cross-functional teams, including internal Migration Leads, Professional Services consultants, and SI Partners, keeping them unblocked and aligned on scope and dates.
  • Act as the main trusted contact for VP-level and C-suite customer stakeholders, turning complex migration workstreams into clear business outcomes.
  • Lead steering committee reviews and help customers manage organizational change.
  • Personally run discovery workshops and Jobs-to-be-Done reviews, auditing legacy processes and mapping requirements to standard target platform patterns.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and automation agents to summarize legacy documentation, extract business logic, generate project assets, and speed up delivery.
  • Assess customer readiness for change, define change enablement paths, and lead post-migration operational handoffs that support lasting adoption.

Requirements

  • You have led enterprise customer delivery, technical program management, engagement management, or management consulting for enterprise SaaS transitions.
  • You have a track record of owning enterprise engagement scope, managing cross-functional delivery teams, and running tight, time-bound client engagements with strict milestone discipline.
  • You have a strong background in program governance, scope management, business process analysis, and executive stakeholder management.
  • You have worked with Professional Services teams, System Integrators (SIs), and external customer teams to deliver together.
  • You have a working understanding of enterprise cloud platforms in Marketing, Revenue/CPQ, Analytics, or Data Cloud, such as MC Next, Revenue Cloud, Tableau, or Data Cloud.
  • You have hands-on experience with AI productivity tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Copilot to speed up program analysis, documentation, and operations.
  • You are willing to travel up to 25% to customer sites as needed.
  • Preferred: You have worked in a Success Architect, Solution Architect, or similar customer-facing delivery role at an enterprise software company.
  • Preferred: You are familiar with the company's platform ecosystem and migration methodologies.
  • Preferred: You have built or refined AI-accelerated delivery playbooks.

Conditions

The role is hybrid, with travel up to 25% to customer sites as needed.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to protected characteristics.

Benefits

  • You will work at the center of high-stakes customer migrations, directly shaping how enterprises modernize their platforms.
  • You will work alongside Professional Services, SI partners, and product teams on AI-native delivery.
  • The company offers benefits and resources to support your balance and wellbeing.
